The Book of Oaths and Vows

Chapter: To vow for to be obedient to Allah. And the Statement of Allah تَعَالَىٰ : "And whatever you spend for spendings (e.g. Sadaqa--charity, etc. for Allah's Cause) or whatever vow you make..." (V .2:270)

Saheeh Bukhari

Hadith 6696.

Narrated Aishah رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهَا : The Prophet صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ سَلَّم said, "Whoever vows that he will be obedient to Allah, should remain obedient to Him; and whoever made a vow that he will disobey Allah, should not disobey Him."
