#17 Manumission

The Book of Manumission (of slaves)

(3) Chapter. Manumitting slaves at the time of eclipses, or on the appearance of some other signs of Allah, is recommended.

Hadith 2519.

Narrated Asma#' bint Abu Bakr رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا : The Prophet صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِۦ وَسَلَّمَ ordered us to manumit slaves at the time of solar eclipses.
